Responsible Gambling at KB66

Gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment — not a source of financial or personal stress. This page explains the tools, rules and support resources available to every KB66 user.

Playing Responsibly Is a Shared Responsibility

At KB66, responsible gambling is not a compliance box to tick — it is a core operating principle. We believe a platform that genuinely serves Pakistani players has to take player welfare seriously, especially given the financial, social and legal sensitivities around gambling in Pakistan.

Gambling can be entertaining when it stays in its proper place — as one leisure activity among many, funded by money you can afford to spend, with clear time boundaries and no pressure to recover losses. When it stops being that, it becomes a problem. KB66's responsible gambling tools exist to help you stay on the right side of that line.

This page covers our age and access policies, the full range of player protection tools available in your account settings, how to recognise early warning signs of problem gambling, and what steps to take if you or someone you know needs support.

Age Requirement: KB66 is strictly for users aged 18 or older — or the higher minimum required by the operator's license jurisdiction. This is a firm access requirement. It does not constitute a representation that gambling is legally permissible in Pakistan at any age. Local laws — including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 — take precedence. Understanding applicable law is the user's responsibility. This is not legal advice.

Your KB66 Player Protection Toolkit

All of the following tools are accessible directly within your account settings. You do not need to contact support to activate most of them.

Immediate Effect
Deposit Limits

Set a cap on the total amount you can deposit in a given period — daily, weekly or monthly. Reductions take effect immediately. Increases are subject to a mandatory waiting period (typically 24–72 hours) to prevent impulsive decisions. For example, you might set a PKR 5,000 daily deposit cap to keep your spending predictable.

Immediate Effect
Loss Limits

Set a maximum amount you are willing to lose over a defined time window. Once your losses reach the limit you have set, your account will be restricted from placing further bets until the period resets. This is one of the most effective tools for preventing sessions from escalating beyond your planned budget.

Configurable
Session Time Reminders

Automated notifications that alert you once you have been actively using the Platform for a set duration — for example, 30 minutes or one hour. It is easy to lose track of time during a PSL match or a live casino session; session reminders help you stay aware without interrupting your experience unless you want them to.

Configurable
Session Time Limits

Beyond reminders, you can set a hard cap on your total session length — after which you will be logged out automatically. Combined with deposit limits, session time limits create a structured, time-bounded gambling habit that is far less likely to lead to problematic patterns.

Short-Term Break
Cooling-Off Period

A temporary break of between 24 hours and 6 weeks, applied immediately to your account. During a cooling-off period you cannot log in, place bets or make deposits. This is ideal if you have had a bad session or notice yourself gambling more than usual — it provides friction and breathing room without full account closure.

Immediate Closure
Self-Exclusion

Request a temporary self-exclusion (6 months, 1 year, 5 years) or a permanent account closure. During self-exclusion, your account is closed, re-registration attempts using your known details will be refused, and any remaining withdrawable balance (subject to KYC) will be returned. This is the most serious intervention tool KB66 offers and should be used if you believe gambling is no longer under your control.

How to Access These Tools: Log in to your KB66 account → navigate to Account Settings → select the Player Safety or Responsible Gambling section. All tools listed above are accessible from that menu. If you cannot locate them, contact our live support team for immediate assistance.
What Does Responsible Gambling Mean?

Responsible gambling means engaging with betting and casino games as a form of paid entertainment — with a clear, pre-set budget, a defined time commitment, and no expectation that gambling will generate income or solve financial problems.

The defining characteristics of responsible gambling are straightforward in principle but can be genuinely difficult to maintain in practice, particularly when a losing streak triggers the urge to "chase" losses. Recognising that urge and responding to it — rather than following it — is the core skill of a responsible player.

For Pakistani users who enjoy following cricket and PSL T20 matches, placing the occasional match bet can be a reasonable leisure activity for those who choose it. But the sport itself — and your enjoyment of it — should always be the primary experience. The bet should be incidental, not the other way around.

Principles of Responsible Play
  • Only gamble with money you can genuinely afford to lose — funds set aside specifically for this purpose, separate from household expenses, savings or emergency funds.
  • Set a budget before you start and treat it as a fixed cost of entertainment, not an investment. When the budget is gone, the session ends.
  • Set a time limit before you start. Step away when the time is up, regardless of whether you are ahead or behind.
  • Never chase losses. The single most dangerous decision in gambling is placing additional bets to recover what you have already lost. The expected outcome of each bet is independent — prior losses do not improve future odds.
  • Avoid gambling when you are emotionally stressed, financially pressured, under the influence of alcohol, or making decisions impulsively.
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities — sport, family time, social activities. If gambling is crowding those out, it is a warning sign.
Illustrative Budget Example

The table below illustrates how a responsible monthly gambling budget might look for a user in Karachi or Lahore. These are illustrative figures only — not recommendations.

Budget Item Illustrative PKR Amount Approach
Monthly entertainment budget PKR 10,000 Set aside from disposable income only
Gambling allocation (max) PKR 2,000 20% of entertainment budget — pre-committed
Deposit limit set on KB66 PKR 2,000 / month Matches allocation exactly; enforced by platform
Loss limit set on KB66 PKR 2,000 / month Matches deposit limit — no chasing beyond this
Session time limit 45 min / session Hard logout after limit reached

These figures are illustrative examples only. There is no recommended or safe amount of gambling spend. Any amount lost is a cost of entertainment, not an investment.

Remember: Gambling platforms — including KB66 — are designed to be commercially viable, meaning the house holds a statistical edge on every game. Over the long run, most gamblers lose more than they win. Treat it as entertainment with a cost, not an income strategy.
Warning Signs to Watch For

Problem gambling rarely announces itself. It tends to develop gradually — a longer session here, a slightly larger deposit there — until it starts affecting your finances, relationships or mental health. Recognising the early warning signs matters because the earlier the intervention, the easier it is to regain control.

The signs below apply to you personally and to anyone close to you whose gambling behaviour you are concerned about. If several of these apply, the appropriate response is not to set a new limit and keep playing — it is to stop, step back, and seek support.

If you recognise five or more of the signs on this page in your own behaviour, please activate self-exclusion immediately via your account settings and contact our support team. We take these situations seriously.
Spending more money on gambling than you originally intended, regularly going over the budget you set.
Chasing losses — continuing to bet after losing in an attempt to win back what you have lost.
Spending more time gambling than intended, or finding that gaming sessions consistently run longer than planned.
Hiding gambling activity from family, friends or colleagues, or feeling the need to be secretive about it.
Gambling with money earmarked for household expenses, rent, bills or other essential costs.
Feeling anxious, irritable or restless when not gambling, or using gambling to escape stress, anxiety or difficult emotions.
Neglecting responsibilities — family, work, social commitments in Karachi, Lahore or wherever you are — because of time or money spent on gambling.
Borrowing money or selling personal items to fund gambling activity.
Making repeated unsuccessful attempts to cut down or stop gambling.
Needing to bet increasingly larger amounts to feel the same level of excitement or satisfaction.
A Quick Self-Assessment

The questions below are adapted from widely used responsible gambling self-assessment frameworks. They are provided for reflection only — not as a clinical diagnostic tool. Be honest with yourself as you work through them.

If you answer "Yes" to three or more of these questions, we strongly recommend activating one or more of KB66's player protection tools immediately, and considering whether to speak with a professional support service.

This self-assessment is informational only. It is not a substitute for professional clinical assessment. If you are concerned about your gambling, please seek qualified support.
Reflect Honestly on Each Question
Question 1 Have you ever bet more money than you could afford to lose?
Question 2 Have you needed to gamble with increasingly larger amounts to get the same feeling of excitement?
Question 3 Have you repeatedly tried to stop or cut back on gambling and found it difficult?
Question 4 Have you gambled to escape personal problems, relieve anxiety or distract yourself from difficult feelings?
Question 5 After losing, have you gone back to try to win back your losses (chased your losses)?
Question 6 Have you hidden your gambling activity or lied to people close to you about how much time or money you spend on gambling?
Question 7 Has gambling ever caused serious financial problems for you or your household?
Question 8 Have you ever felt depressed, guilty or remorseful after a gambling session?

If you answered "Yes" to three or more questions, please consider activating self-exclusion via your KB66 account settings and reaching out to our support team. Our team can help you access the right tools immediately.

Activating Self-Exclusion on KB66

Self-exclusion is the most serious player protection tool available. It closes your access to the Platform for a defined period — or permanently — and prevents re-registration under your known details. Here is how to use it:

1
Log In to Your Account

Access kb66.cam from any device. Log in with your username and password. If you cannot log in, contact live support directly for assisted account access.

2
Navigate to Account Settings

Select your account menu (usually your username or profile icon). Choose "Account Settings" or "Player Safety" from the dropdown.

3
Select Self-Exclusion

Choose from available exclusion periods: 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or permanent closure. Select the period that reflects your situation honestly — if in doubt, choose the longer option.

4
Confirm Your Decision

Self-exclusion takes effect immediately upon confirmation. You will receive a confirmation to your registered email address. Your account balance (withdrawable funds, subject to KYC) will be returned to you.

5
Contact Support if Needed

If at any point you need assistance with the exclusion process, KB66's live support is available 24/7. Contact us at [email protected] (plain text — not a link) or via the on-site chat widget.

After Self-Exclusion: What Happens
  • Your account is closed immediately — you cannot log in, deposit or place bets during the exclusion period.
  • Any active bonuses are forfeited. Withdrawable real-money funds (subject to KYC completion) will be processed for return to you.
  • Attempts to re-register using your known details (name, email, payment method, device) will be identified and refused where technically possible.
  • You will be removed from KB66 marketing lists during the exclusion period.
  • Reversing self-exclusion before its expiry is generally not possible during the exclusion period — this is intentional. The purpose of the tool is to create a meaningful break.
  • After the exclusion period ends, re-activation is not automatic. You must actively contact KB66 to reinstate account access, and a cooling-off period may apply before reinstatement.
Important: Self-exclusion at KB66 applies only to the KB66 platform. If you have accounts on other platforms, you will need to manage exclusions there separately. KB66 cannot intercept your access to other operators.
Talking to Someone

If gambling is causing problems in your life — financial pressure, relationship strain, anxiety or difficulty functioning day-to-day — speaking to someone trained in gambling support can make a significant difference.

While Pakistan does not currently have a dedicated national problem gambling helpline, internationally recognised responsible gambling organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous have regional affiliates and online resources that Pakistani users can access.

General mental health support services are also available. Your local hospital or community health worker in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan or Peshawar may be able to refer you to counselling services that cover gambling-related difficulties.

Protecting Minors and Vulnerable Adults

KB66 is an adults-only platform. The 18+ minimum age requirement — or the higher minimum set by the operator's license jurisdiction — is strictly enforced. We do not knowingly accept registrations from minors, and we take age verification seriously.

If you share a device or computer with minors, we strongly encourage you to:

  • Never allow children or young people to use or observe your gambling sessions.
  • Enable parental control software that can restrict access to gambling-related websites on shared devices.
  • Never save your KB66 login credentials on a shared or family device.
  • Keep your account credentials private — do not share your password with any other person, regardless of age.
  • Log out of your account completely after each session on shared devices.
Under-Age Registration: If you become aware that a minor has registered on KB66 using falsified details, please report it immediately to [email protected] (plain text — not a link). We will investigate and close the account without delay.
Gambling, Pakistani Law & KB66

It is important to be transparent about the legal context in which KB66 operates for Pakistani users. Pakistan has gambling restrictions, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. The legal status of accessing online gambling platforms from Pakistan depends on applicable federal and provincial law and its interpretation.

KB66 does not claim to be licensed, approved, regulated or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan, the PTA, the State Bank of Pakistan, any provincial authority, or any Pakistani financial institution. Payment channel references on KB66 — including Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah — are contextual only and do not imply endorsement or support of gambling by those institutions.

Users are solely responsible for determining whether their use of the Platform is lawful under applicable law in their location. KB66 does not provide legal advice and nothing on this page or elsewhere on the Platform should be treated as such.

Not Legal Advice: This is not legal advice. If you are unsure about the legal position of online gambling in your jurisdiction, please consult a qualified legal professional before using the Platform.
